Altitude.fi, a decentralised protocol on Ethereum that actively manages DeFi loans, is launching an Early Rewards Program after reaching $1 million in deposits whilst in Closed Beta.

The protocol is designed to optimise the financial efficiency of DeFi loans and ensures the capital isn't idle, but is actively generating yield. Any yield from the collateral goes toward lowering the loan balance or reducing the interest. Borrowers on Altitude.fi can reduce their debt and make sure their funds keep working, even while supplied as collateral.

In line with its mission to be community-owned, Altitude.fi has introduced its Early Rewards Program to thank early adopters for their trust and support. Through this program, 5% of the total ALTI token supply will be distributed to protocol users until 1 September 2025, providing tangible rewards to those who contribute to the platform's growth.

“The Early Rewards Program coincides with the protocol’s Closed Beta. Although the smart contracts have been audited by two security firms, this Closed Beta phase allows the team to thoroughly test the user interface and ensure everything is ready for full public access. The Early Rewards Program is specifically designed to reward early adopters, as our goal is to make Altitude.fi a community-owned and focused project. ALTI will be a governance token that will enable the community to vote on important decisions about the protocol’s direction,” said Tobias van Amstel, Co-Founder of Altitude.fi.

To accumulate ALTI tokens, users deposit wstETH into the protocol vault. The conversion to wstETH is required to ensure that users benefit from Lido’s staking yield.

During the Closed Beta, protocol deposits are capped at 60 wstETH per wallet, with a minimum deposit of 1 wstETH. The total vault cap is currently set at 600 wstETH. This cap will be increased periodically as the program progresses, and the number of tokens available per day will also rise, allowing more community members to participate and benefit from the rewards program.

One of the core principles driving the Altitude.fi protocol is the belief in creating a community-owned platform. Many of the centralised elements currently in place are there mainly for security and safety. The team believes that community governance is the future, and the focus of the company is on implementing a strategy that maximises the potential of ALTI to achieve that vision.
