Hack.Summit() is a series of Web3 developer conferences. The event will be held at Cyberport in Hong Kong from April 9th to April 10th, 2024. Since its inception a decade ago, this conference marks the first time Hack.Summit() is being held in Asia, with Hong Kong being chosen as the inaugural Asian host city, signifying significant importance for both Hack VC and the region.

Hack.Summit() 2024 is organized by Hack VC and co-hosted by AltLayer and Berachain, in collaboration with Solana, The Graph, Blockchain Academy, ScalingX, 0G, SNZ, and Cyberport, with Techub News as the organizer.

"We are excited to host Hack.Summit() in Hong Kong, bringing together a vast developer community," said Ed Roman, founder of Hack.Summit() and managing partner at Hack VC. "Hack.Summit() has been making an impact for a decade, and we are thrilled to finally bring this high-quality Web3 education to Asia."

Since the release of the "Policy Statement on Virtual Asset Development in Hong Kong" in 2020, Hong Kong's Web3 development has made rapid progress, aiming to transition from being the 'Asian financial center' to the 'international innovation hub.' The goal of Hack.Summit() 2024 is to connect global builders through Hong Kong, inspiring local developers to participate in the development of the Web3 ecosystem.

The decision to host Hack VC's event in Hong Kong stems from the organization's strong presence in North America, aiming to attract global top Web3 developers to understand and collaborate with local builders in Hong Kong, enriching their Web3 landscape. Additionally, Hack VC values the development in the Asia-Pacific region, making Hong Kong an ideal choice, with substantial support from Cyberport, known as the 'Web3 hub' of Hong Kong.

Hack.Summit() is dedicated to blockchain developers, having hosted its inaugural conference in 2014, with over 130,000 participants throughout its history. Hack.Summit() has established itself as a significant gathering in the Web3 industry. The first Asian edition of Hack.Summit() 2024 will span two days, expected to attract over 1,000 participants, including technical lectures, policy analysis, roundtable discussions, and more.
