Vulcan Forged Unveils Epic Gaming Olympiad to Kick Off 2024
Vulcan Forged, the leading decentralized gaming platform, leveraging the PYR token and LAVA token as part of its ecosystem, today announced the launch of its inaugural Vulcan’s Gaming Olympiad. This will be a two-week competition that will challenge players in six of its most popular games for a share of 4,000 PYR and 17,000 LAVA tokens (worth about $30k).
The Vulcan’s Gaming Olympiad will run from January 16 to January 30, 2024, and will feature the following games:
- Berserk
- HeXenagos
- Vulcan’s Tower Defense
- Vulcan Runner
- Tartarus
- Vulcan’s Creed
Players will compete to earn the most XP in each game, with the top three players in each game winning a grand prize of 150 PYR and 500 LAVA tokens, and two runner-up prizes of 75 PYR and 300 LAVA tokens each.
In addition to the individual prizes, there will also be weekly Olympiads for each game, with the top player in each week winning 75 PYR and 500 LAVA tokens.
There will also be a weekly raffle for all players, with the 10 winners sharing 500 PYR tokens weekly. “We are excited to launch the Vulcan’s Gaming Olympiad as a way to kick off 2024 in a big way,” said Jamie Thomson, CEO of Vulcan Forged. “This is an opportunity for new-comers to try our games and for all our players to compete for some amazing prizes and show off their skills in some of our most popular games. To participate in the Vulcan’s Gaming Olympiad, players must have a registered Vulcan Forged account (called My Forge) and be logged into their account and have the latest versions of the participating games installed. XP will be tracked for each player, and the leaderboards will be updated live. The Vulcan’s Gaming Olympiad is just the first in a series of exciting events and initiatives planned by Vulcan Forged for 2024.
