During its latest Community Call, Hundrx — a company building the next generation of decentralized social capital on top of existing Web2 social networks — publicly announced the release of its incentivized testnet.
What is the Hundrx Testnet?
The Hundrx Testnet represents a pivotal stage in the ongoing development of the Hundrx ecosystem. With its release, Hundrx users have been invited to immerse themselves in an environment specifically designed to stress-test and refine various crucial components. This includes testing the process of permissionless tokenization of Twitter accounts.
By embarking on this testing phase, Hundrx aims to bolster the robustness and reliability of the Hundrx platform, ensuring an unparalleled user experience upon its mainnet launch.
Success criteria
All testnet participants are expected to have:
- Added the Hundrx extension to their browser — Google Chrome, Brave or Opera.
- Connected their Metamask.
- Claimed testnet DRX tokens.
- Actively minted, traded and burnt Social Tokens on Twitter.
- Accepted to post auto-generated Tweets (mandatory), confirming their actions with social tokens.
- Actively engaged in the #Tweet2Mine campaign, using the ChatGPT reply function.
- Have subscribed to Hundrx’s official Twitter account.
Rewards
As an incentive for active participation, participants in the Hundrx Testnet campaign will have the exciting opportunity to reap substantial rewards. Every testnet token generated through the process of minting and trading social tokens can be matched to mainnet tokens at an enticing ratio of 1:1. This means that users who engage in the testnet ecosystem and accumulate testnet tokens will have the chance to convert their efforts into tangible rewards on the mainnet.
In order to maintain the integrity and fairness of the reward system, the founders of Hundrx reserve the right to cancel reward withdrawals if they determine that participants have been engaging in abusive practices such as system exploitation, DDoS attacks, wash trading, or any form of manipulation or malicious activity undermining the purpose of the testing phase.
Expected results of the testnet campaign
With incentivization, Hundrx aims to reach a total of 100,000 users, distributing 10 million DRX from Hundrx’s Growth-Hack Community Fund. A whopping 0.35% of the total DRX supply have been added on to the 1% of DRX supply that the platform is distributing as rewards through its #Tweet2Mine initiative.
How does a testnet faucet work?
The Hundrx Testnet Faucet offers participants a seamless way to acquire testnet DRX tokens for their testing and experimentation. Located in the wallet section, a dedicated button allows users to claim 100 testnet DRX tokens per wallet address. It’s important to note that the faucet has a limit of 100 tokens available per account. This ensures that all participants have an equal opportunity to access the testnet tokens and promotes a fair distribution of resources. By utilizing the faucet, users can easily obtain the necessary testnet DRX tokens to explore and engage with various features of the Hundrx ecosystem, facilitating their active involvement in the testnet phase.
