The Cambridge Blockchain Society, BlockTech London & Conflux Network is inviting university students from around the world to U-Hack, an online hackathon in the field of DeFi with a $100k prize pool.
U-Hack has begun, although participants still have time to register until March 2nd and submissions are due until March 14th. The hackathon event is fully online, and the end goal is to turn promising submissions into reality, team members into founders.
Throughout the hackathon, weekly events will be held for student participants to partake in. This includes workshops & presentations from top DeFi protocols, including Lido Finance, PancakeSwap, LayerZero and Pendle Finance.
On top of this, students will be able to book mentoring slots with major VC firms and DeFi founders to feedback their submissions in order to give them a competitive edge in the real world.
Submissions are to be deployed on the Conflux Network (a high TPS, low gas fee, EVM compatible L1) and because of this weekly technical workshops are readily available to help participants get started with the basics.
For those attending ETHDenver, U-Hack is co-hosting #BUIDLHOUSE and is extending an open invitation to everyone. BUIDLHOUSE is an open hacker house providing builders the space to meet, connect and co-hack. Hosts and partners of U-Hack will be giving live panels there.
