NFL legend Tom Brady recently launched a non-fungible token (NFT) company called Autograph. Today, the brand announced a new video podcast series hosted by one of the NBA’s hottest talents, the Indiana Pacers’ point guard Tyrese Haliburton.
The NBA drafted the basketball player in 2020, and with just two years of experience, he is making a name for himself as one of the best rookies in the league. In addition, Haliburton is a well-known Web3 and NFT advocate.
Autograph named its podcast “Autograph Presents: Get Minted with Tyrese Haliburton,” a six-part series debuting today, November 1st. The show will facilitate people’s onboarding on the Web3 and digital asset space by providing educational content.
The NFT brand CMO, Patrick Cassidy, emphasized that the company is trying to take these digital assets to the mainstream. This new program is one more step in that direction. That way, the podcast will tear down barriers and friction for people to embrace the nascent technology. Cassidy added:
Autograph’s new Autograph Presents: Get Minted podcast is one of the many ways we are working to create pathways for mainstream consumers to learn more about the value web3 provides across industries, from sports to music and entertainment. Tyrese Haliburton is a great advocate for the space, and we feel lucky to have him serve as our host.
Tom Brady Contributes To NFT Adoption
Today’s premier episode will feature skateboard legend Tony Hawk, a member of the Autograph board. Upcoming episodes will feature other major personalities in sports, entertainment, music, technology, and other sectors. Hawk said this about his participation in Tom Brady’s brand video podcast:
I’ve focused on emerging technology throughout my life, from playing video games to buying gadgets, and now, my involvement in web3 and NFTs. I’m excited to help people understand the industry. Autograph Presents: Get Minted will be an iconic platform for others in the NFT space to help more people understand the value of the technology.
In coming episodes, famous actress Eva Longoria Bastón will speak about the NFT learning curve, understanding how people can get involved in the space and education as a critical resource. The show will feature 101 NFT lessons, NFTs basics, and more with Arianna Simpson, Charli D’Amelio, and other personalities.
The video podcast will be available on Apple, Spotify, Google Podcast, and YouTube. Haliburton said the following about his role in the new video podcast and its potential to boost NFT adoption:
I am so excited to make my podcast debut alongside Autograph with Get Minted. I know firsthand how intimidating it can be to enter web3, and this podcast will give web3 and NFT newcomers a place to get started. I can’t wait for listeners to hear all of the amazing guests, and to share bits of my own web3 journey along the way.
