Two leading cross-chain businesses, OccamFi and Symbiosis, are joining efforts and expertise to launch a comprehensive service for those who are determined to protect their crypto projects from security risks.
The two industry leaders, OccamFi and Symbiosis, are launching a new venture — VoidSet. VoidSet helps projects in the Web3 space with smart contract security audits, blockchain penetration testing, security consulting and more.
Since its rise in popularity, the crypto industry has been a target for those who skillfully exploit vulnerabilities in disruptive technologies. In the last two years, the industry has seen a dramatic increase in the number of decentralized finance (DeFi) projects that have been hacked, especially cross-chain protocols such as BSC Bridge, Nomad, Ronin Bridge, Poly Network, Wormhole and many others. The overall damage from those attacks was over $2 billion — a low blow not only to the millions of users affected but to the reputation and trustworthiness of the industry as a whole.
The market is now in dire need of reliable measures to protect against external threats. Despite the presence of major security companies such as PeckShield and QuantStamp, they can’t compete with the sheer number of requests across the industry, with new projects often unable to afford the waiting time or price tag that comes with these names.
Therefore, Symbiosis and OccamFi have decided to develop a new initiative to help Web3 projects gain confidence in their future — no matter what security challenges they face today. While they cater to various security needs due to their team expertise and ability to tackle more complex security threats, VoidSet specializes in identifying and solving cross-chain security vulnerabilities.
Cross-chain security experts from each company will support DeFi enthusiasts from the launch to the mass expansion of their projects. Currently, available services include smart contract security audits, blockchain penetration testing and security consulting, with more options coming soon.
If you have any questions or wish to collaborate, don’t hesitate to contact VoidSet.
