SMART DPP offers an easy, one-click solution for digital product passports, specifically designed for brands. It seamlessly integrates with any ERP system without requiring technical expertise and can be easily implemented using NFC tags, QR codes, or engagement pages, with or without blockchain support (including multichain options). SMART DPP boosts sales by up to 70% through an integrated loyalty program and significantly enhances transparency, increasing conversion rates and reducing returns.

The first version of the Digital Product Passport was officially launched under the SEAMM brand at the NFC Lisbon Fashion Stage in May 2024. SMART DPP has since expanded its vision with a multi-chain approach to become the first public multi-chain DPP provider in the fashion space. As of September 2024, SMART DPP operates on Solana, Polygon, and soon Ethereum, to ensure a versatile and future-proof solution for the fashion industry.

Advising and assisting in the deployment of this new solution is Kavana Lab. Kavana Lab, a company incubated within the Polygon ecosystem, is championing the use of innovative technologies to solve key problems for companies working in fashion, music, sports, and video entertainment.

Polygon Labs, known for its core contribution to several highly adopted scaling protocols and rich fashion background including blockchain adoption for Nike, D&G and Gucci, is the ideal partner for SMART DPP's vision to scale Digital Product Passports across the fashion industry. By leveraging Polygon's core blockchain solutions, SMART DPP is committed to not only enhancing transparency and efficiency but also addressing climate change.

This strategic decision also positions SMART DPP at the forefront of compliance with the upcoming European Digital Product Passport Regulation, set to roll out in 2027 as part of the European Green Deal. This regulation will require detailed documentation of the environmental impact of products, including textiles and footwear, with widespread adoption expected by 2026.

The official announcement of the Digital Product Passport on Polygon PoS will be made by SMART DPP Co-Founder & CEO Alexandra Maslova at an invite-only luxury evening Digital Couture Summit MFW SS '25 on September 19th. A conversation led by digital fashion advisor Nikki Cikaluk will feature Alexandra Maslova together with Legal Counsel of Lacoste Erin Surprenant, Polygon Labs Co-Founder Mihailo Bjelic and Felipe Fiallo, Founder of Italian brand Fiallo. The presentation of DPPs integration on Polygon PoS in Milan and launch of SMART DPP will be held in front of numerous luxury brands like D&G, Georgio Armani, Lanvin Group, Diesel.

Commenting on SMART DPP launch and Polygon PoS integration, Alexandra Maslova stated: "This is our extended version of the DPPs solution in collaboration with Polygon Labs. We’ve prepared a demo version of the product that will showcase, in real life, how this tech solution will benefit both brands and consumers."

After the Polygon PoS integration into its ecosystem, SMART DPP is aiming to extend its multi-chain vision with a DPP solution on Ethereum later in 2024.
