Professional experience and achievement
Patrick founded the Penn State University Bitcoin Club (PSUBTC) in early 2014. Within weeks of establishing the organization, he coordinated with other college Bitcoin/cryptocurrency clubs at the University of Michigan, Ohio State University and MIT to found the College Cryptocurrency Network (CCN). CCN’s goal is to support students who have interest in Bitcoin to start cryptocurrency clubs at their schools.

First experience with cryptocurrencies
Patrick first became aware of cryptocurrencies in early 2013. Shortly after that, he began mining both Bitcoin and Litecoin.
Role in the Bitcoin community
Patrick is currently in talks with Bitcoin companies to get Penn State students to intern with Bitcoin companies. Additionally, he is working directly with Penn State University to get them to accept bitcoin for donation purposes. With this infrastructure in place, PSUBTC’s would be able to support THON through bitcoin donations.
