The startup competition at Paris Blockchain Week will kick off today in partnership with Google Cloud. Startups with a focus on blockchain and Web3 will have up to Feb. 15 to apply to participate in this unique opportunity to engage with investors that have a dedicated focus on the industry, and convince them to back their projects.

Participants in this inspiring competition will include promising projects in the Web3 and blockchain space. The startup competition will put the spotlight on start-ups with high potential, providing more than 100 ambitious founders with unique exposure, plus feedback from reputable investors. Additionally, this competition offers the startups access to funding, acceleration programs and coaching from partners.

Paris Blockchain Week considers startups that are less than three years old andhave raised less than 3 million euros.

Participating investors will be first in line to discover Web3 startups with high potential, and will have the opportunity ahead of others to invest in these innovators and game changers. During the competition, more than 100 prescreened decks will be seen by investors, who will decide which 10 projects will be able to pitch to the investors live on March 20. For 10 selected founders in the program, there will be an opportunity to pitch and build their network during Investors Day.

During the competition, the 10 finalist founders will deliver their startup pitch, followed by a brief Q&A session. The judging investors will provide insight and disclose their grades on stage. The jury is made up of successful entrepreneurs, investors, and thought-leaders in the Web3 industry, such as Tim Draper, Daniël Rood from Google Cloud, David Prinçay from Binance and Julien Bouteloup from Stake Capital Group.

The winning three startups will pitch their project to Paris Blockchain Week attendees on the main stage at the flagship summit.

Emmanuel Fenet, CEO of Paris Blockchain Week, added:
