Yet another Bitcoin ATM from Liberty Teller has just been installed in one of the MIT COOP retail store in Kendall Square, Cambridge, Massachusetts.

The store in Kendall Square is a popular place for students to buy school supplies, books and MIT-branded merchandise such as mugs, t-shirts, sweatshirts and other items. Liberty Teller co-founder Chris Yim stated:
“We are pleased to bring our bitcoin ATM to Kendall Square’s vibrant tech and startup community which is home to Google, Facebook, Twitter, MIT, and the Cambridge Innovation Center among others.”
The first Bitcoin ATM from Liberty Teller was installed in Boston’s South Station; thought now you may find their bitcoin kiosks at the Garage Mall on Harvard Square and in Moksa Restaurant on Central Square in Cambridge, Boston.

As a leading educational institution, MIT is seemingly ready to adapt to the coming era of digital currencies. Since MIT’s Premier Bitcoin Expo, the Bitcoin movement has been gaining momentum as students are actively preparing for the new academic year and more local merchants are starting to accept digital coins as payment.
