Liberal and leftist hypocrisy was exposed when millions took to the streets to protest Donald Trump's triumphant victory over Hillary Clinton in the recent U.S. elections. In response to the protest, Jeff Berwick, a Canadian Bitcoin enthusiast, entrepreneur, libertarian and anarcho activist, urged those who don’t want Trump as their president to quit paying taxes.
Cointelegraph spoke to Jeff Berwick.
Don’t Pay Taxes to Trump
Cointelegraph: You just started a movement on Facebook rallying Liberals to stop paying taxes to stop Trump. What’s your motivation?
Jeff Berwick: It actually began as just an off-the-cuff post on Facebook. I was looking at the millions of people in the US who were distraught about Trump winning and saw how many are protesting and rioting, and thought if you really want to stop Trump, stop paying taxes.
But almost as soon as I posted I realized that we libertarians and anarcho-capitalists should try to reach out to the liberals and try to urge them to stop paying taxes to stop Trump. Some have already started about secessionist movements, the most notable in California.
Anarchists are always in favor of secession in order to have more smaller governments, until we reach seven bln governments on Earth.
So the plan is to urge these liberals to stop paying taxes and secede from the federal government...they won't realize it until it's too late, but it will also dilute the very power structures that they desire. If they are successful and it causes so much chaos for Trump that Hillary somehow gets in, then we'll urge the Trump supporters to do the same.
CT: What are the strategies to achieve this?
JB: Just like most things, to promote social media memes to target audiences urging them to stop paying taxes and secede from the federal government in order to attain their goal of stopping Trump.
A movement from centralized control of money
CT: Do you think calling people to stop using the government money, and start using Bitcoin will be an effective tool to end the circus and degradation of humanity?
JB: Yes. The primary source of power of all governments today is their communist style central banks and monopoly on money. Without it, most governments would not have anywhere near the size or control they currently have.
It was Mayer Amschel Bauer Rothschild himself who said, "Give me control of a nation's money and I care not who makes its laws."
A movement from centralized control of money to a decentralized money would, for all intents and purposes, destroy the power of every government on Earth.
Global Recession
CT: Would you say the election of Trump is the beginning of a global recession?
JB: The U.S. has been in a recession since the year 2000. GDP is a fallacy. The real standard of living has dropped precipitously since then and, in fact, it began going down in 1971 when the final link to gold was taken away from the dollar.
Trump is a trojan horse, just another puppet, selected by the elites to give people the illusion they have some power.
Way Forward
CT: If people care to listen to the Liberal/Anarchist community, what would be your advice in this tumultuous moment?
JB: Own yourself. No one has the right to rule you. Do unto others as you want them to do unto you.
