Inco, developers of a universal confidentiality layer for Ethereum and other networks, and FHE Onchain, a podcast and thought leadership brand focused on sharing the latest insights and breakthroughs in Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE), have announced the FHE Summit — the world’s first event focused on the intersection of FHE and Web3.

The event will take place on July 10 in the heart of Brussels. Inco invites researchers, builders, and investors contributing to a thriving blockchain ecosystem with fully on-chain decentralized applications to attend this exclusive one-day event.

FHE Summit will feature research talks, workshops, and panel discussions with companies pioneering FHE implementation across the industries. The list of speakers includes:

  • Pascal Paillier, CTO of Zama, the leading FHE research company
  • Remi Gai, CEO of Inco, the universal confidentiality layer of Web3, powered by FHE
  • Ravital Solomon, CEO of Sunscreen, the ecosystem for building privacy-preserving applications using FHE
  • Guy Itzhaki, CEO of Fhenix, a confidential L2 powered by FHE
  • Other speakers from Fairmath, Mind Network, Privasea, Gauss Labs, 1kx, Fabric, Belfort, Flashbots, and more

"Today, a few trusted third parties host much of the world’s data, growing exponentially. Confidentiality is not a property of any widely adopted blockchain technology. You have the right to control your data in an end-to-end encrypted manner. In a decade, the notion of permitting unencrypted data storage on centralized servers and public blockchains, as currently practiced, will seem unfathomable,” says Remi Gai, CEO of Inco. “FHE redefines how we often think of public and private chains in binary terms by enabling on-chain composable confidentiality. In the spirit of Web3, we advocate for advancing and adopting novel, fully on-chain decentralized applications and are excited to host the first FHE Summit.”

Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) is an advanced cryptographic technique that allows users to process encrypted data while keeping it encrypted, ensuring confidentiality throughout the computation process. FHE has significant benefits, enabling the use of untrusted networks and enhancing data confidentiality.

With the increasing risks of digital confidentiality leaks, FHE is needed now more than ever. It is being adopted in various industries, and as the technology matures, its usage is expected to expand across more sectors, including crypto. The FHE Summit, hosted by Inco and FHE Onchain, becomes the world's first event dedicated to this promising technology, highlighting its potential and fostering its growth.

The FHE Summit will be held in July 2024 in Brussels, along with EthCC 7 and several other key conferences and events.
