The tales of fortunes made on Bitcoin are numerous, but every now and then a unique and lovable tale captures the hearts of many - and has them green with envy.

Enter Eddy Zillan, who made a fortune investing the money he was gifted for his Bar Mitzvah on various cryptocurrencies.

According to The Telegraph, the young investor entered the market at the tender age of 16-years-old. Playing around with an initial $1,000, his trading hobby was boosted by a $5,000 injection from his Bar Mitzvah.

The industrious youngster wasn’t just bank-rolled, he worked during holidays to make more money to invest.

“I then invested another $6,000 through money I earned and saved from working summer jobs.”

Seeing some returns on his investments, Zillan went about researching the tricks of the trading world as he looked to make his money work. He entered the market at a time when there was little information on cryptocurrency trading - considering himself a self-taught trader.

“I completely taught myself everything about the market that was necessary and I can only attribute my success to myself. I had no mentor and learned from making mistakes and a lot of research.”

Like many other crypto-made millionaires, Zilan estimates that he’s made close to $1 mln since he started trading.

“I have made close to a million from trades but the market is very volatile and some days I may make $150,000, but other days I may lose $100,000, so it’s very hard to give an exact dollar value on my portfolio.”

Following a long bear market in 2016, Zilan cashed out of Bitcoin and now dabbles in Ethereum. Using his wealth of knowledge on the subject, he started a cryptocurrency investment consultancy.
