On February 17-18 2016, entrepreneurs and enthusiasts from the US and Europe will gather in Amsterdam to explore the future of decentralization in FinTech. The conference is called D10e Amsterdam and describes itself as “an opportunity for those excited about decentralization to build real friendships with like-minded people capable of creating the world of tomorrow together”.
“We will focus on cutting-edge decentralization in FinTech, disruptive technology and culture, the sharing economy, and the future of work. During two-days at Beurs van Berlage, experts will share their insights and knowledge through concise and engaging short-form presentations.”
Throughout the two days, over 130 entrepreneurs and investors representing more than 200 companies will join presentations and conversations about Bitcoin, the Blockchain, disruptive technology, and the future of the industry.
Tiffany Madison, CEO of D10e, said to Cointelegraph:
“The decision to launch d10e (a numeronym for decentralize) was in line with our vision to spearhead a cultural movement uniting investors and entrepreneurs working with all types of decentralizing technologies. Bitcoiners and blockchain evangelists aren’t the only ones in this space. We believe what can be decentralized will be decentralized, and it's up to the early adopters to collaborate and make it happen.”
D10e was founded in 2014 in the US, where it has had three events in recent years. D10e is now coming to Europe, where young businesses strive to adopt new FinTech, Blockchain and disruptive technology solutions.
“The conference will bring together top leaders to share their insights on the overall state of decentralization while providing attendees with opportunities to develop meaningful relationships and actionable knowledge to enrich their businesses,” said Brock Pierce, the Chairman of the Bitcoin Foundation and the founder of the conference.
