Elon Musk is using his power to prevent this chatbot from dominating the artificial intelligence business.
Musk has reportedly sought artificial intelligence professionals in recent weeks about constructing a new research facility to develop an alternative to ChatGPT, the high-profile chatbot developed by the startup OpenAI, according to The Information and sources with direct knowledge of the concept.
According to the report, Musk presently has his sights set on Igor Babuschkin, who recently left Alphabet’s DeepMind Artificial Intelligence unit.
The report comes after ChatGPT has taken the world by storm.
Musk co-founded OpenAI in 2015 with Sam Altman, the president of startup accelerator Y Combinator, to monitor the development of artificial intelligence technology.

Elon Musk On ChatGPT: ‘Scary Good’
Musk, who has subsequently severed relations with OpenAI, commented on ChatGPT and described it as “scary good.” The chatbot can, among other things, create poetry, write cooking manuals, and even code on command.
ChatGPT amassed more than 100 million users in less than two months after its debut. In addition, it has more than 13 million daily visitors, and the number is growing.
The chatbot became one of the fastest-growing consumer applications as a result. After stressing the dangers of AI, Musk appears eager to develop an AI that will take on ChatGPT.
Why The Billionaire Is Criticizing OpenAI
In the past few months, the billionaire has regularly lambasted OpenAI for adding filters that restrict ChatGPT from generating material that might offend users.
Elon Musk noted in 2022 that OpenAI’s work was an example of “training AI to be woke.” His remarks suggest that an alternative chatbot would have fewer constraints on contentious issues than ChatGPT and a recently announced Microsoft chatbot with a similar function.
The danger of training AI to be woke – in other words, lie – is deadly

The Tesla CEO was recently referred to by ChatGPT as being more contentious than Che Guevara, who was an Argentine Marxist revolutionary, physician, author, and guerrilla leader.
As it stands, the conventional wisdom holds that ChatGPT is profoundly prejudiced because it was “trained” on woke content.
Musk had been very critical of artificial intelligence. He believes strongly that any artificial intelligence should be taught to be as politically and socially unbiased as possible.
Open-Source No More?He was also forthright in stating that OpenAI grew into a “closed source, maximum-profit enterprise effectively controlled by Microsoft.” He explained that he founded OpenAI as an open-source nonprofit organization.
It is odd that Elon Musk, one of the co-founders of OpenAI, is now fiercely opposed to the company’s partnership with Microsoft.
Microsoft has signed a multimillion-dollar agreement with the AI company to utilize its cloud services and Azure-based apps.
Notwithstanding the critique, Binance has lauded ChatGPT for its potential to be used in crypto adoption, expansion, education, and other areas, in a conversational and frequently entertaining manner.
Not Yet Set In StoneThe AI market has been growing rapidly in recent years and is expected to continue its growth trajectory in the coming years. According to a report by MarketsandMarkets, the global AI market size was valued at $62.35 billion in 2020 and is expected to reach $309.98 billion by 2026.
Meanwhile, Babuschkin told The Information that Musk’s concept has not yet been etched in stone. The researcher continued by stating that he had not yet committed to join Musk’s fledgling lab.
