Dreams Quest, a diversified entertainment company, announced its integration with Arbitrum Nova. This integration will provide players with frictionless access and ownership of their game inventory and player accounts on the leading layer-2 blockchain ecosystem.
The integration of Origins: The Fall of Azoria, a mobile Web2 game being developed by Dreams Quest, will provide players with the first of its kind innovation and integration from mobile to blockchain, challenging the traditional gaming market. Players will be able fully own their game assets by way of a technical bridge to the Arbitrum Nova layer-2 blockchain network.
This technical integration is the first of its kind, enabling players to play Origins on their mobiles or tablets without requiring them to interact with any Web3 components during gameplay. Backend processes will enable the players to receive their game assets onto the blockchain without any user confirmations required. Their ownership remains on the blockchain, enabling players to retrieve and trade items separately from the game while giving them unique ownership of their accounts and items.
This undertaking has taken two years to develop the core mobile game along with the integration on the blockchain, providing users with a seamless user experience. The typical restrictions that are required to confirm every transaction has been resolved in the backend of the game infrastructure, giving players the ability to receive their assets and accounts without any user interaction.
