The first-ever CRYPTO2030 was held from January 15 to 19, 2024, in Davos, Switzerland. As the topic of digital assets gains global significance, CRYPTO2030 brought together representatives from various countries and organisations to discuss future implications of blockchain technology.

The event's website noted its aim to foster a productive environment for influential voices to exchange ideas and advance the Web3 space.

The event opened with a breakfast presentation on Hong Kong's regulation by Yuan Jie Zhang, the Co-founder & CEO of Conflux Network.

The first panel discussed crypto regulation in various jurisdictions, including El Salvador, the first country to adopt Bitcoin as its official currency. Juan Carlos Reyes, President of CNAD - El Salvador's National Regulator, outlined his country's regulatory approach.

CRYPTO2030 also showcased the Davos Disruptors: Crypto Startup Spotlight Finals, a pitch event organized by the Crypto Valley Association. The prizes were sponsored by DWF Labs, Cointelegraph, AWS, and the Crypto Valley Association. This competition, which concentrated on various macro topics each day, announced the following winners:
