Yes people it is that time of the year… again. People dashing around in search for that perfect gift. But what do we in the digital currency community do and where do we buy our gifts? Well here are some pointers and some reputable services that are available to the crypto enthusiast to still get those nice and beautiful presents to your loved ones.

We know that waiting in line and shopping in over crowded  shopping malls and shops can be a bit frustrating. Of course there is the internet where you can order your things online but still you have to use your credit card and the added fee afterwards. So why not use a small portion of your Bitcoins to do your Chistmas shopping? We tested some sites out for you, so you know that these ones are safe. The ones that we will be discussing here in this article are the ones we have used ourselves.

·        Cryptothrift.

Cryptothrift can be best described as the ebay or amazon of the digital currency. You can buy and sell a wide range of items. There is an option of buy now (which is the most common) or the auction house system. You can buy and sell items for Bitcoin or Litecoin. Everything is divided up into sections. The sections range from Advertising to Vouchers.

·        Gyft.

This one is particularly handy for our readers that live in or near the US. You can choose out a wide variety of gift cards, like amazon, starbucks, gamestop, etc. For our European readers Gyft may not be such a good choice.

·        Pockio.

The third site is called Pockio. It is also a gift card site but then for amazon.co.uk, google play store, steam and Marks & Spencer. If you visit the UK and if you are near a marks and Spencer, jump into to store. They are very cheap and their items are excellent and they have a wide variety. Now Pockio is more focussed on the English target group.

·        All4btc.com.

Last but certainly not least is the site called all4btc.com. You can buy anything from amazon or ebay worldwide using Bitcoin as a payment method. Here is how you need to do it. Go to the desired page of for example amazon. Then copy said link into the place where it needs to be, fill out your address, add the price, amount and shipping costs ( make sure it is correct). When everything is filled out, just check if everything is  ok and then make the bitcoin payment by clicking on the Bitcoin symbol. You can also click on “how it works” tab on the all4btc.com website or you can click this link.

On a closing note we would also like to remind you to still be carefull when buying your presents on some of these sites. for example: Always use cryptothift’s services like escrow to make payments and look at the ratings. We hope that all of you who are reading this will find it very helpful and remember: if the shopping for Christmas presents is getting to you it is time to kick back, relax and get some gluwein, apple snaps, jaegermeister or some good old Jenever.
