Recently, Catizen announced its plan to launch over 300 new games by the end of 2025, further enriching and expanding the platform's content ecosystem. At the same time, Catizen revealed a token buyback plan, with the aim of repurchasing over 10 million CATI tokens. With Catizen's self-developed H5 game engine and SDK, developers worldwide can now easily create high-performance mini-games for Telegram, seamlessly integrate login, payment, and sharing features, and deploy smart contracts on TON. Currently, Catizen's game product portfolio includes over 50 titles, spanning various genres such as card games, massively multiplayer online (MMO) games, match-3 games, simulation games, idle games, rogue-like games, and more. The themes are diverse, covering mythology, fantasy, and other topics.

Quarterly flagship product incubation

In addition to expanding its product diversity, Catizen focuses on incubating one flagship project each quarter. The flagship product for Q3 2024, Bombie—a meme game where players earn tokens by killing zombies—has already achieved significant success. Since its beta release in August 2024, Bombie has attracted over 5.5 million players, generating more than $5 million in game revenue in just two months。 With 150,000 paying users and an ARPPU exceeding $33, the game demonstrates strong potential in both profitability and user engagement. These results validate Catizen's ability to innovate and create flagship products, showcasing the immense potential and sustainable growth prospects of Catizen's ecosystem.

Catizen's game pipeline currently also includes two flagship products: Lucky Galaxy, a premium game with an interstellar theme designed to boost user engagement and consumption through airdrop features, and Cattea, an ad-driven match-3 casual game that encourages user participation via ad rewards while diversifying revenue sources for the Catizen ecosystem. These games are expected to bring more innovative gaming experiences to the platform.

Expanding the IP portfolio

With its core focus on its own cat-themed IP, Catizen continues to increase strategic investments in its IP reserves. Currently, Catizen is in discussions about signing several well-known Web2 game IPs, including the iconic arcade game IP King of Fighters. By introducing these classic IPs, Catizen aims to bring more diversified content and cross-industry collaboration opportunities to the platform, further enhancing its influence in the gaming and entertainment sectors.

10 Million+ token buyback plan

At the DeInsight 2024 summit during Devcon in Bangkok, Catizen's co-founder, Ricky Wong, announced a CATI token buyback plan with the goal of repurchasing over 10 million CATI tokens annually. 50% of the application center's revenue will be used to buy back and burn $CATI tokens. If revenue exceeds expectations, Catizen plans to increase the buyback amount to provide strong support for the stability and sustainable growth of the platform's ecosystem. Catizen actively manages token circulation through a buyback and burn strategy, creating deflationary pressure while driving demand through loyalty programs, staking, and exclusive content. Catizen aims to maximize value capture by diversifying the ecosystem with consumer apps across gaming, entertainment, and finance, ultimately providing innovative solutions and value to users and $CATI token holders.
