Global crypto exchange Binance is a household name uniting the Web3 world with its annual flagship event Binance Blockchain Week. Held in different cities each year, the annual event brings industry leaders, influencers, and enthusiasts together to discuss the latest trends and innovations and provides a platform to shape the crypto industry. The organization brought together over 4,600 attendees from all over the world in a sold-out event in Dubai with more than 200 speakers in the backdrop of a fast-emerging sector where digital assets are entering the mainstream.
Binance recently released a two-part documentary titled “Building The Future: Inside Binance Blockchain Week” to offer a behind-the-scenes glimpse into one of the most significant crypto events of last year. Set against the dynamic backdrop of Dubai, an epicenter of fast-emerging innovations and a global crypto hub, the docuseries is a celebration of innovation, community, and passion surrounding Binance and blockchain technology.
The episode also stars Binance co-founder Yi He, who emphasized the important role Binance Blockchain Week plays in the industry. In the series, she reflects on the event’s growth since its inception in 2019 and shares her profound insights throughout the episode. Yi points out that mega events such as Binance Blockchain Week are instrumental in communicating to the larger crypto audience what Binance is looking to achieve, thus building trust, confidence, and a shared vision of the future.
Rachel Conlan, Binance’s CMO, provides a candid look at the purpose of the event. Former MMA athlete Khabib Nurmagomedov and influencers András Arató and Hasbulla are seen among the crowd. Viewers take a peep at the speakers’ lounge, where there is rigorous work to create the optimal lineup.
The crowd goes wild when perhaps the most expected speaker, Changpeng Zhao, takes the stage. CZ reflected on the struggles of the past year in a humorous way while also sharing his personal 2025 projections for the crypto industry.
